Getting to Caloundra

Caloundra's closest airport is the Sunshine Coast Airport at Marcoola near Maroochydore. Most Australian capital cities have flights to the Sunshine Coast Airport which is approximately a 30 minute drive south on the Sunshine Motorway to Caloundra. For international travellers, Brisbane is the closest airport. It is approximately a 60 minute drive north on the Bruce Highway to Caloundra.

 

Both airports have door to door bus transfer services to your accommodation in Caloundra. Taxis, limousine services and car hire are also readily available from the airports you can book here.

 

There are three major airline companies that fly to Noosa. These are Virgin Blue, Jetstar and Tiger Airways.

 

Caloundra is approximately a 60 minute drive north of Brisbane along the Bruce Highway. Take the Caloundra signed exit at Steve Irwin Way and follow the signs along the Caloundra Road. If you're arriving from the north, Caloundra is approximately 11/2 hour's south of Gympie also on the Bruce Highway. Take the Caloundra signed exit at Steve Irwin Way interchange and travel along the Caloundra Road to Caloundra.
